Recycle old scraps into DIY bowl! You can use old thread, ribbon, trim, and scraps. While you can’t eat your cereal out of this bowl, you can use it to organize or to decorate. I think I would use mine as a change bowl, or maybe to hold some pencils on my coffee table (really to show off my handiwork…). This is another great idea from Sew It All Magazine, Vol. 4.
DIY Inspiration: Framed fabric.
You could even wrap the fabric around cork first, and make framed corkboards in pretty prints.

Truebluemeandyou: Just looked again at the before photo of this project and how everything was used from the Dollar Store Halloween stuff - from the finials to the to the spiderweb on the fake gravestone. Plus he attached a working clock with velcro. Amazing transformation.
